Rays' Ji-Man Choi (head, ear) out Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays designated hitter Ji-Man Choi (head, ear) is out of Wednesday's starting lineup against the New York Yankees.
Choi made an early exit from Tuesday night's game against the Yankees after a hard collision at home plate in the bottom of the third inning. He passed an initial round of concussion tests but is still being monitored and also suffered a laceration on his left ear that required stitches. C.J. Cron will play DH and bat fifth for the Rays on Wednesday.
Choi is averaging 9.5 FanDuel points in 61 games this season, while slashing .263/.357/.505 with 10 home runs, 32 RBI, 25 runs scored, and 2 steals across 221 plate appearances. numberFire's models project Cron to score 9.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,800 on Wednesday.
