Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is out of Wednesday's starting lineup versus the Kansas City Royals.
Barnhart will be replaced behind the dish by Curt Casali, who will catch left-hander Cody Reed and bat sixth versus Royals righty Heath Fillmyer.
