Brock Holt hits for the cycle
On Tuesday, Brock Holt hit the first Red Sox cycle since 1996.
What It Means:
Holt hit a triple in the eighth inning against the Braves that sealed the deal. According to ESPN Boston, John Valentin was the last player to do so in a Red Sox uniform.
So far in 2015, Holt has an impressive .353 wOBA, and his increased walk rate shows that he's had more discipline at the plate this season. It's all great news for the Red Sox.
