4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/29/16

Miguel Sano has a great matchup against the debuting Michael Fulmer tonight. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value?

Building daily fantasy baseball lineups can be intimidating. On any given slate, you have a massive number of options in front of you and a ton of factors to consider.

We're here to help take some of that burden off and break down some hitters who you can slot into your lineup for nice and cheap, while still being well-positioned to provide your lineup with solid fantasy production.

Let's take a look at where we can find value on today's slate.

Albert Pujols, 1B, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $3,200

Albert Pujols has had a slow start to the year, but he showed that he still has some gas in the tank in 2015, when he hit 40 home runs -- his most since 2010.

He has a nice matchup against the shaky Colby Lewis tonight. Lewis has a career 4.17 SIERA and has allowed 1.32 home runs per nine, and the game is being played in a hitter-friendly stadium.

Even though Pujols may not be able to match his career numbers, an impressive .402 wOBA and .260 ISO against righties, he's still hitting righties well, posting a .339 wOBA and .230 ISO with an 11.0 percent strikeout rate in 2016.

Justin Bour, 1B, Miami Marlins

FanDuel Price: $2,100

Priced only $100 over minimum salary, Justin Bour is easy to like tonight.

He's up against a righty in Zach Davies, who has played in only eight Major League games but who hasn't looked good so far. He has a 4.55 SIERA with a 15.8 percent strikeout rate and 10.3 percent walk rate.

Despite his slow start to the year, Bour has shown through his young career that he hits right-handed pitching fairly well, with a .343 wOBA and a .207 ISO.

The Marlins have the fifth-highest implied total on the slate, and Bour makes for an incredibly cheap way to get exposure to that while still giving you a quality player.

Miguel Sano, OF, Minnesota Twins

FanDuel Price: $3,500

Michael Fulmer is making his Major League debut tonight on the mound for the Detroit Tigers, and Vegas oddsmakers don't expect it to go well, giving the Twins the fourth-highest implied total of the day.

Fulmer had a nice 15-game stretch in AA in 2015, but his 3.97 ERA in 19 games for the' Mets High-A affiliate in 2014 and his rough start to this season in AAA (posting a 4.11 ERA) leave some room for concern.

Miguel Sano may be boom-or-bust with his 34.8 percent strikeout rate, but he hasn't been kind to right-handed pitchers to start his career, posting a .380 wOBA and .236 ISO in 325 plate appearances. Fulmer could be in for a tough night, and Sano has a lot of upside in this matchup.

David Peralta, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

FanDuel Price: $3,400

The Diamondbacks have the highest implied total on tonight's main slate, and that's something you're going to want to target.

They're at home against the Colorado Rockies and righty Tyler Chatwood. Chatwood's career numbers are ugly, with a 4.60 SIERA and a 13.5 percent strikeout rate. He has also allowed a .347 wOBA to left-handed hitters with a 4.70 xFIP.

David Peralta has looked outstanding against right-handed pitchers to start his career, and he's sporting a .382 wOBA and .212 ISO against them through his first couple of seasons.

Peralta matches up really well with Chatwood, and having a fairly low price tag while hitting in the heart of the lineup of the most well-positioned offense on the slate makes him a terrific play tonight.
