FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Thursday 10/10/19
Following a surprising loss in Game 4, will Yordan Alvarez and the Astros be able to clinch an ALCS berth in tonight's winner-take-all game?

The final division series wraps up on Thursday between the Tampa Bay Rays and Houston Astros, with the Rays putting their fates in the hands of Tyler Glasnow, while the Astros are bringing out arguably 2019's top overall hurler in Gerrit Cole. Glasnow may be a potential rising star, but he simply isn't in peak form after missing much of the season to injury -- he failed to reach five innings in Game 1 -- so Houston is heavily favored to move on to the ALCS. Of course, the same could be said when Justin Verlander was on the mound in Game 4, and we know how that turned out.

For those unfamiliar with the single-game daily fantasy baseball format, scoring is identical to its full roster cousin, except you only roster hitters and lineups consist of five flex spots. The one twist? One of the five roster spots is your designated "MVP," who receives 2-times his total fantasy points, along with an "All-Star" slot that gets 1.5-times the points. Naturally, it's crucial that you choose your MVP and All-Star carefully if you want to be at the top of the leaderboards when it's all said and done.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel single-game slate.
