4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 9/27/19

DJ LeMahieu, Aaron Judge and the Yankees could pile up runs in Texas. Which other offenses should you load up on tonight?

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup -- but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Premium members can use our stacking feature to customize their stacks within their optimal lineups for the day, choosing the team you want to stack and how many players you want to include. You can also check out our hitting heat map, which provides an illustration of which offenses have the best combination of matchup and potency.

Now, let’s get to the stacks. As usual, we will not include today’s game at Coors Field in these recommendations. You already know that you want bats at Coors when you can afford them, and you don’t need us to tell you. Here are the other teams you should be targeting in daily fantasy baseball today.

New York Yankees

The New York Yankees take on Texas Rangers rookie left-hander Joe Palumbo. The southpaw's minimal time in the Majors has been poor, but he had an elite 30-plus percent strikeout rate in Triple-A and Double-A. However, his control is still an issue with a 10-plus percent walk rate in those stops. In addition, he's sporting approximately 3.65 xFIP across Triple-A and Double-A.

All in all, the Yanks have a gaudy 6.39 implied total, the second-best non-Coors mark.

There is so much power on the Yankees, especially against left-handed pitchers. Aaron Judge ($4,500) has smashed southpaws to the tune of a .459 wOBA and .313 ISO. In addition, his Statcast numbers are elite with a 10.4 percent barrels per plate appearance (8th) and 95.8 MPH average exit velocity (1st) against lefties and righties combined.

A couple more power hitters are Gleyber Torres ($3,700) and DJ LeMahieu ($3,900), both of whom have crushed against left-handed pitchers. Torres has put up a .367 wOBA and .254 ISO in the split whereas LeMahieu has destroyed lefties with a .448 wOBA and .259 ISO. In addition, you have to consider Giovanny Urshela ($2,900) if he's back in the lineup tonight. He has put up a .359 wOBA and .243 ISO against lefties at a very great price tag.

Finally, you need to consider Giancarlo Stanton ($3,900), Didi Gregorius ($3,300) and Austin Romine ($2,700), as well.
