Justin Verlander ($12,200 on FanDuel): Aaron Sanchez ended up being a huge bust against the Tigers last night (an injury may have been to blame), but it's safe to say that Justin Verlander is several steps up over the Astros' recently acquired reclamation project. One of the top overall pitchers on the season, Verlander easily bests everyone on the slate in both strikeout rate (34.9%) and SIERA (3.06), and he could enjoy a truly monster performance facing one of the year's worst offenses. Against righties, the Tigers' active roster owns league-worsts in both wRC+ (74) and strikeout rate (27.6%). A sky-high price tag is the only thing holding Verlander back tonight, though with four games cracking 60 FanDuel points this season, the enormous ceiling is undeniable.
