4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 6/12/19
The Blue Jays may not be the most decorated offense, but they could have a big night against struggling right-hander David Hess.

With today's Coors game taking place in the afternoon, we're back to a more traditional main slate for stacks, and there are certainly some enticing cheap ones available to us from teams we don't normally look to that often.

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Premium members can use our stacking feature to customize their stacks within their optimal lineups for the day, choosing the team you want to stack and how many players you want to include. You can also check out our hitting heat map, which provides an illustration of which offenses have the best combination of matchup and potency.

Now, let's get to the stacks.

Toronto Blue Jays

Tonight's matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles is filled to the brim with value plays, as almost every player on both teams is priced at $3,100 or lower. And while a bunch of low salaries wouldn't normally be enough to move the needle, with the Blue Jays' Derek Law serving as an opener with Edwin Jackson expected to follow, and the Orioles' David Hess taking the mound, even these two lowly offenses should garner our attention.

Hess has been roughed up all season long, owning an ugly 5.22 SIERA while getting pummeled for a league-high 20 home runs off a 43.0% hard-hit rate and 48.5% fly-ball rate. Opposing batters are hitting barrels off him left and right, and with just an 18.3% strikeout rate and 8.5% swinging-strike rate, he just doesn't seem to be fooling anyone.

Although the Blue Jays remain a modest offense overall, they do have enough potential pop to turn this into a profitable stack between guys like Justin Smoak ($3,300), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ($3,100), Randal Grichuk ($2,900), Lourdes Gurriel ($2,800), and Rowdy Tellez ($2,400), all of whom have ISOs above .190 this year. Cavan Biggio ($2,700) has value as a cheap leadoff man tonight, too, and while Teoscar Hernandez ($2,600) has struggled in 2019, he does have a career .215 ISO against righties.

The affordable salaries are especially helpful since they allows you to roster Justin Verlander ($11,100), who is easily the most talented hurler on the board tonight.
