High-Priced Pitcher

Corey Kluber ($10,600 on FanDuel): Kluber hasn't been his usual insanely-dominant self this season. His swinging-strike rate has fallen to 11.0% after being at 15.6% in 2017, and he's surrendering a career-worst 36.7% hard-hit rate. But Kluber had set the bar so high, a step-back season is still pretty darn great as he has pitched his way to a 3.29 SIERA, 25.1% strikeout rate and 3.4% walk rate. A matchup with the Detroit Tigers easies a lot of worries. The Tigers sit 27th in wOBA (.297), and they have a slate-low 3.09 implied total, making Kluber a sweet cash-game target.
