FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Saturday 7/21/18

Jose Ramirez is the first player to reach 30 dingers this year, and he could be poised to add to that tally tonight against Bartolo Colon. Who else deserves a look on Saturday night?

Much like last night, Saturday's main slate offers us a nice balance of pitching and hitting, but there isn't necessarily a sure-fire hurler who stands out. On the other hand, the Cleveland Indians once again lead the way on offense, followed by the Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered!

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Justin Verlander ($11,500 on FanDuel): Based purely on his 2018 numbers, Justin Verlander is peerless on this slate, coming in with a stellar 2.90 SIERA, 32.5% strikeout rate, and 4.5% walk rate. He's been allowing more hard contact since the beginning of June (35.5%), but otherwise there's little to complain about his performance this year. However, he gets a less than ideal matchup against the Los Angeles Angels, who own one of the lowest strikeout rates in the league (20.2%). That said, they're only showing a 3.49 implied team total, and Verlander has the goods to delivery a big score even in tough spots. The only question is whether you'll be able to stomach the hefty price tag.
