Chris Sale ($12,000 on FanDuel): Sale has been stupid-good this year, recording more outings with a single-game swinging-strike rate greater than 20.0% (four) than he has games with a swinging-strike rate in the single digits (two). His season-long numbers of a 2.53 SIERA, 35.6% strikeout rate, 15.6% swinging-strike rate and 6.5% walk rate keep him in play in even the toughest of matchups, and he's got one of those tonight on the road against the New York Yankees. The Yanks have a massive .350 wOBA against lefties, tied for the best mark in baseball, but they also carry a 22.9% strikeout rate in the split. Despite the matchup, Sale is the top arm, per our models, on what's a fairly weak pitching slate, although he's $3,100 more expensive than any other hurler.
