4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 6/25/18
We love to stack against Andrew Cashner, and Monday night is no different with the Seattle Mariners in town. Which other offenses deserve our attention?

Stacking can be a controversial topic in many daily fantasy sports, but you can count baseball as a glaring exception. Here, it's universal.

Using multiple players on the same team on a given day presents you with the opportunity to double dip. If one of your players hits an RBI double, there's a good chance he drove in another one of your guys. When you get the points for both the run and the RBI, you'll be climbing the leaderboards fast.

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Premium members can use our new stacking feature to customize their stacks within their optimal lineups for the day, choosing the team you want to stack and how many players you want to include. You can also check out our hitting heat map, which provides an illustration of which offenses have the best combination of matchup and potency.

Now, let's get to the stacks.

Seattle Mariners

The Seattle Mariners enjoy one of Monday's best matchups, taking on beleaguered right-hander Andrew Cashner.

A favorite to stack against all season, Cashner has mustered a mere 4.77 SIERA, 18.8% strikeout rate, and 10.0% walk rate. He's also allowing an ugly .382 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA), and he can be attacked from both sides of the plate. Not that we need much more encouragement, but the Mariners are showing a solid 4.92 implied team total at Camden Yards.

Nelson Cruz ($3,900) and Mitch Haniger ($3,400) are your heavy-hitters in the heart of the order, posting xwOBAs of .412 and .411, respectively, against right-handers this year. Jean Segura ($3,700) is a bit pricey and has been sitting out with a forearm issue, but he's always a solid option at shortstop if he's back and hitting second.

But what really makes the Mariners an appealing stack is there's a lot of cheap value to be found, which could go a long way if you want to pair them with an expensive Justin Verlander ($11,700). Dee Gordon ($2,900) is an affordable leadoff man, while Kyle Seager ($2,900) and Ryon Healy ($2,800) bring some inexpensive pop. Against righties, Seager and Healy have each posted an isolated power (ISO) over .200 and hard-hit rate of more than 40%.

Lastly, Mike Zunino ($2,300) is an all-or-nothing sort, but you never know when that next dinger could be coming. He owns a .250 ISO dating back to 2016.
