3 MLB Prop Bets to Target on 6/6/18

Facing off with Bartolo Colon, Khris Davis could be in for a big night in Texas. Which other players odds should you be exploiting on Wednesday?

Prop betting odds can be useful in daily fantasy sports to help gauge the potential performance of a player on any given night in the MLB. Likewise, the same principles can be applied in the opposite direction -- by using our fantasy projections and models to help make more informed prop bets.

Using the odds available at Bovada Sportsbook, here are three prop bets available tonight that are good plays based on our daily MLB game projections.

Please note that Vegas lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Oakland Athletics at Texas Rangers

Khris Davis OVER 2.5 Runs, Hits, and RBI (+120)

Khristopher Davis had a monster day at the dish on Tuesday, and on Wednesday our models think the Oakland Athletics' outfielder could be one of the best prop bet values on the slate.

Davis owns a .355 wOBA and a .277 isolated power against right-handers this season, and Bartolo Colon could present a soft target for Davis to hit one out of the park. Our models are projecting him for a combined 3.17 runs, hits, and RBI. Davis is also tops all hitters in home run odds, according to our Wednesday projections.

Chicago White Sox at Minnesota Twins

Jose Abreu OVER 2.5 Runs, Hits, and RBI (+140)

Jose Abreu is hitting 7-for-21 (.333) this month, and he is fresh off swatting his first home run in June. The Chicago White Sox are up against right-hander Jake Odorizzi on Wednesday, and our models think Abreu could have another big night.

Abreu is averaging a run, hit, or RBI every 1.89 plate appearances against right-handers this season, and with right-handers owning a .304 BABIP against Odorizzi this year, our models are projecting Abreu for 3.15 runs, hits, and RBI in this matchup.

Miami Marlins at St. Louis Cardinals

Justin Bour OVER 2 Runs, Hits, and RBI (+110)

Through his first six starts, Jack Flaherty has been great for the St. Louis Cardinals this season. But our models think that Justin Bour may be able to take advantage of him tonight.

Bour has been excellent against right-handed pitching this season with a .358 wOBA and .258 isolated power. Our models really like the first baseman's chances of hitting a home run, and we're projecting him for a combined 2.51 runs, hits, and RBI against Flaherty.
