FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Thursday 4/26/18
Mookie Betts is putting up gaudy numbers this season, and Boston has a sweet matchup with fly-ball pitcher Marco Estrada. Which other players should you check out on the main slate?

It's a small-slate Thursday, with only four games on the menu for this evening's main slate. But fear not, as we surprisingly have a nice slice of pitching tonight, giving the slate more oomph than your average four-game offering.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Chris Sale ($11,400 on FanDuel): As one might expect, Chris Sale is the most expensive arm on the board by a fairly wide margin and with good reason. He hasn't missed a beat in 2018, owning a pristine 2.34 SIERA, 36.3% strikeout rate, and 5.3% walk rate through five starts. The one concern early on was that the Boston Red Sox were keeping Sale's pitch count down, but after chucking it 109 times in his last outing, we can probably put that to rest. He's a sizable favorite against Marco Estrada, and the Toronto Blue Jays are only seeing a 3.35 implied team total. He's the obvious top choice tonight.
