Chris Sale ($11,700 on FanDuel): In his last time out, Chris Sale hit a bit of a rough patch, allowing three earned runs and racking up a season-low six strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings. Is it time to stop paying the high salaries? Nah, fam. Even in that one, Sale topped 40 points on FanDuel, and he had a stout 12.4% swinging-strike rate. He's awesome. His SIERA is 2.31 thanks to a grotesque 36.7% strikeout rate and 5.1% walk rate. On top of that, it's his first time facing his former Chicago White Sox teammates. The White Sox do a great job of avoiding strikeouts against lefties, allowing them to post solid early-season stats, but Sale is pitching well enough to overcome a bad matchup right now. We should keep paying Sale's price until further notice.
