For the third straight season, Ricky Nolasco is sporting an ERA above 5.00 and a SIERA above 4.00. His 17.6% strikeout rate is also below his career average, and he is allowing a career-high 35.3% hard-hit rate.

He struggles most with left-handed hitters, having an xFIP above 4.50 against lefties in each of the past three seasons. That makes Miguel Montero an appealing play tonight.

Montero is a career .266/.353/.433 hitter with a .341 wOBA against right-handed pitching. While those numbers aren't exactly elite, they're solid enough to make him a strong play in this matchup.
