Jhonny Peralta, SS, St. Louis Cardinals

Brandon Finnegan will be starting for the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday, which likely means big things for Cardinals' hitters.

Finnegan has an ugly 5.18 SIERA and 4.45 ERA on the season. He is allowing a .338 wOBA with a 4.96 xFIP against right-handed hitters, and this is a good spot for Jhonny Peralta.

Peralta is having a quiet year, but the fact that he's sporting a career-low .260 BABIP with a 33.9% hard-hit rate -- which is 3% above his career average -- indicates he may not really be struggling as much as it may seem. Peralta has a career .258/.337/.447 slash with a .340 wOBA and .189 ISO against left-handed pitching, and he should be able to produce in this favorable matchup.
