4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 7/29/16
With people focusing on the opposing pitcher, Steven Matz, Tyler Chatwood is likely to go ignored tonight. Who are some other interesting contrarian options?

Tyler Chatwood, P, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $6,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The last time Tyler Chatwood made it past the fifth inning in a start was June 11. With several other appealing options, including his opponent, Steven Matz, Chatwood will fly under the radar tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

When considering rostering Chatwood, the first question you need to ask is, "Is this game taking place at Coors Field?" If the answer to that question is no, then proceed with your research. If it is yes, look into stacking the visiting team's lineup. In 55.1 innings pitched at home this season, Chatwood has an unsightly 5.69 ERA. In 48.1 innings pitched away from Coors, his ERA sits at a pristine 1.30.

Guess where tonight's game will be played? Pretty much the opposite of Coors Field! Chatwood will take the mound at Citi Field, home to the New York Mets, as well as the lowest Park Factor over the past three seasons.

In addition to having a spacious stadium, the Mets have been an appealing matchup for opposing right-handers this season, posting just the 19th-highest wOBA and the 7th-highest strikeout rate.

Chatwood is far from a cash game consideration with the way he has pitched recently. However, in a road matchup against the Mets, he is worth a look in tournaments, especially at his price.
