Chase Utley will likely be hitting leadoff for the Dodgers tonight against Zack Godley and the Diamondbacks.

Godley hasn't looked great through his young major league career, with a 4.26 SIERA and 10.0 percent walk rate over 17 games. He has been especially bad against left-handed hitting with a huge 4.90 xFIP.

Utley has hit right-handed pitching well over his whole career and is slashing .273/.358/.396 with a .332 wOBA and a huge 38.3 percent hard-hit rate against righties on the year, making this spot against Godley very appealing.
