Robinson Chirinos, C, Texas Rangers

Oakland's rookie pitcher Sean Manaea will get the start on the road in Texas today, and it's no surprise that the Rangers have one of the highest implied totals on today's main slate.

Manaea has a 4.18 SIERA through 80 Major League innings and has given up 1.24 home runs per nine. He has been especially bad against right-handed hitters, allowing a .331 wOBA with a 4.52 xFIP, which sets things up nicely for Robinson Chirinos.

Chirinos is having a strong year from the dish, posting a .330 wOBA and huge .305 isolated slugging, and he has always hit left-handed pitching fairly well, slashing .236/.322/.457 with a .340 wOBA and .236 isolated slugging over his career. At home in the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park against a struggling Manaea, he should be in for a big night.
