4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 7/25/16
Troy Tulowitzki has elite upside with a low price tag against Colin Rea and the Padres tonight. Who else should you target for big time fantasy value?

Billy Butler, 1B, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $2,500

Billy Butler hasn't had a great season from the plate, but it has also been a strange year, with lots of room for optimism.

He has always hit left-handed pitching well over his career, with a .376 wOBA and .194 isolated slugging, and while he's hitting for a .304 average against lefties this year, he only has a .127 isolated slugging with an incredibly low 3.7 percent home run-to-fly ball rate, 10 percent lower than his career average. Even accompanied by a fallen hard-hit rate, that number is unsustainably low, and Butler should be able to bounce back from it.

His matchup tonight is an excellent one, against the left-handed Martin Perez, who owns a career 4.56 SIERA and sporting a career-worst 5.42 on the season.

Right-handed hitters have crushed Perez to the tune of a .349 wOBA and 5.12 xFIP this season, and this is a great spot for Butler.
