5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 7/22/16
Daily fantasy players will be scared off of Jon Gray at Coors Field tonight, but the numbers suggest he has exceptional upside tonight. Who else will go overlooked tonight?

Michael Fulmer, SP, Detroit Tigers

FanDuel Price: $8,500

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are tons of different directions you can go today at pitcher. Even though Michael Fulmer seems severely underpriced, he likely will go overlooked with the White Sox projected for 4.5 runs against him.

Why You Should Use Him:

Despite being the 10th-most expensive pitcher on the slate, Fulmer is second in FanDuel points per start among pitchers with at least five starts. His 2.13 ERA on the year is stellar, but he's been even better recently, posting a 0.77 ERA over his past nine starts. The rookie hasn't allowed more than two runs in any of those starts.

He'll look to continue his recent string of dominance in tonight's matchup against the White Sox, who rank 24th in wOBA against right-handed pitching. Their 21.1 percent strikeout rate ranks in the bottom-half of the league as well.

Fulmer has shown a very high floor this season, with just two starts of over three runs allowed, and he has shown a tremendous ceiling as well, posting three 59-plus FanDuel point totals in his last 10 starts. He's a viable option in any format tonight -- the low ownership is just an added bonus.
