Pedro Alvarez has a lot going for him tonight. He's hitting at home in Camden Yards, which is one of the best parks in the majors for left-handed hitters, he's up against right-hander Tim Lincecum, who is struggling this season.

Lincecum's best years are well behind him now, and he finished 2015 with a 4.82 SIERA. He hasn't been much better this season, posting a 4.63 SIERA.

Alvarez is slashing .237/.311/.450, and he has done his best work against right-handed pitching over his career, sporting a .341 wOBA, .229 ISO and 38.0% hard-hit rate against righties.
