Miguel Montero hasn't been especially productive from the dish this season, but with a .241 BABIP that is the second-lowest of his career (and far below his .304 career average) we can expect things to pick up a bit.

Even in this down year, he's managing a solid .163 isolated slugging and 29.3 percent hard-hit rate against right-handed pitchers, and he has a career .268/.354/.435 slash with a .342 wOBA against righties, making tonight's matchup with Dan Straily an intriguing one.

Straily is, for the second straight season, sporting a rough 4.67 SIERA, and owns a very ugly 5.86 xFIP against left-handed hitters on the season.
