Stephen Strasburg, P, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $10,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Clayton Kershaw has been so good this season that, anytime he is on the slate, the other pitchers are likely to go overlooked. Despite having a better matchup, Stephen Strasburg will likely go underowned in tonight's head-to-head matchup.

Why You Should Use Him:

Strasburg certainly is no Clayton Kershaw, but he's been as close as anyone else to the superstar this season, averaging 47.4 FanDuel points and reaching double digit strikeouts in four of his past six starts.

While Kershaw will take on a Washington offense that ranks fourth in wOBA against lefties, Strasburg finds himself matched up with a Dodgers team ranking 22nd in wOBA against righties. The Dodgers are projected for just 3.2 runs against Strasburg, and their 20.7 percent strikeout rate against righties offers him plenty of upside.

Kershaw is probably the better option in cash games because of the consistency he has shown this season. However, Strasburg has similar upside in a better matchup and is cheaper and will carry low ownership, making him an excellent tournament option.
