Trevor Plouffe is almost always underowned, and tonight should be no different in a plus matchup.

Daniel Murphy, 2B, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $3,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Dustin Pedroia and Ian Kinsler will likely be the most popular options at second base today, which should keep Daniel Murphy's ownership in check.

Why You Should Use Him:

Murphy has slowed down a bit recently, and his batting average is now down to a measly .359 mark. Tonight's matchup against right-hander Erik Johnson should help him get back to posting the ridiculous numbers he has been putting up all year.

Johnson has a 4.89 SIERA in 102.2 career innings and has been completely overwhelmed against left-handed batters, as evidenced by his 3.94 xFIP against righties and 6.16 mark against lefties.

Murphy, a lefty, has posted much improved splits against righties in his career and should be able to do a lot of damage against Johnson tonight. With Washington projected for 4.4 runs, Murphy is one of the best plays at second base today, especially if you can get him at low ownership.
