5 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/1/16
With several elite pitchers in good matchups, Aaron Sanchez is likely to be overlooked. Who else will fly under-the-radar?

Aaron Sanchez, SP, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $8,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Max Scherzer, Felix Hernandez, and Jon Lester all are in good matchups and are the only pitchers with implied team totals against of under 3.5 on the slate. Aaron Sanchez isn't likely to be a popular option with these three available.

Why You Should Use Him:

Sanchez doesn't have the pedigree that some of the elite pitchers do, but he has been just as effective as some of the top-end pitchers. Through 10 starts, Sanchez has posted a 3.29 ERA with a respectable 21.5 percent strikeout rate.

His opponent tonight, the Yankees, have struggled mightily against right-handers, posting a .298 wOBA, which ranks 26th in the league. Over their past three games, they have scored just five combined runs. In his last start against the Yanks, Sanchez allowed just three hits and one earned run.

Do what you can to fit in Scherzer or Lester, but if you just can't make it work with your hitters, Sanchez offers a nice discount, preferably in tournaments.
