Los Angeles Angels' pitcher Hector Santiago is struggling this season, which is nothing new to him. He sports a career 4.30 SIERA and hasn't posted a mark below 4.00 since 2012. Right-handed hitters give him an especially hard time. For his career, he allows a .328 wOBA and 1.53 home runs per nine innings while struggling to a 4.86 xFIP to righties.

Chris Iannetta is hitting .233/.355/.389 with a .334 wOBA on the season, which is right around his career averages. On the surface, that's nothing special, but when you just look at how he hits lefties, things look a lot better. He owns a .380 wOBA and a .225 ISO versus southpaws. With those numbers and a favorable matchup, he's easy to like today.
