4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/11/16
Matt Holliday has a low price tag despite his great start to the season. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value tonight?

John Jaso, 1B, Pittsburgh Pirates

FanDuel Price: $3,000

[Note: John Jaso is not in the starting lineup tonight.]

John Jaso, typically hitting leadoff for the Pirates, has put together a solid start to the season with a .353 wOBA and only a 9.8 percent strikeout rate. He has always done his best work against right-handed pitching, with a career .352 wOBA and .156 ISO, and is in a good spot tonight against righty Alfredo Simon, whose 4.37 SIERA on the season is in line with his career mark of 4.26.

Simon has also allowed a career .344 wOBA to lefties with a 4.41 xFIP and a strikeout rate of only 15.1 percent.

The Pirates have the second-highest implied total in tonight's main slate, and getting exposure to their leadoff hitter, especially with a favorable matchup against a struggling pitcher, for cheap makes for great value.
