Rick Porcello, P, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $8,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Starting pitching is absolutely loaded today. Both Madison Bumgarner and Noah Syndergaard are projected to hold their opponents to under 2.7 runs, while Zack Greinke gets to face the hapless Braves. There are several other high-upside pitchers sprinkled in in the $8,000-to-$10,000 range, too.

Most people think Rick Porcello's hot start is a fluke. Considering there are 18 starting pitchers with opposing implied team totals lower than Porcello, it seems very unlikely that he is a hot commodity tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

Still don't believe in Porcello? That's fine, but you can't ignore his recent production considering his price. Porcello's 47.2 FanDuel points per game is the second-highest average on this slate, yet he is priced as the 14th-most expensive pitcher.

Aided by Boston's third-ranked offense, Porcello has won five-straight starts, highlighted by his 51-point performance against his opponent today, the Yankees, in his most recent start.

The Yankees haven't been nearly as good as advertised this season, ranking 25th in wOBA and 27th in hard-hit rate against righties. They've been especially bad recently, averaging 2.4 runs over their past 10 games, while posting a 2-8 record.

There is likely some regression coming for Porcello, but the reeling Yankees are unlikely to be the ones to end his hot streak. He's an excellent tournament option tonight.
