Edwin Encarnacion, 1B, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $3,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Edwin Encarnacion faces a weak left-hander, and Toronto has the highest implied team total. On a base level, it would make sense for Encarnacion to be a very popular play today. However, with David Ortiz and Jose Abreu both in great matchups and swinging hot bats recently, Encarnacion may go overlooked.

Why You Should Use Him:

While it has been a disappointing season for Encarnacion, he has three hits in his past two games and launched a homer last night.

Encarnacion and the Blue Jays will face lefty Derek Holland, who had a 4.91 SIERA last season and is unable to retire right-handed batters. That's not a good trait to have against Toronto.

While Encarnacion hit righties better as a whole last season, his splits against lefties at home were superior to his splits against righties at home. He posted a .420 wOBA with a .609 slugging percentage and .326 ISO at home against lefties. His career numbers point toward his hitting better against lefties, so it's safe to assume that last year's lefty-righty splits were a bit of an aberration.

Encarnacion should have no trouble against Holland tonight and could be a big part of the potential Toronto offensive explosion, while hitting fourth in the order.

He is criminally underpriced, considering his upside.
