Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Brett Anderson Is Too Good to Be Just a Streamer
There are pitchers who deserve the streaming title long-term. Brett Anderson is not one of them anymore.

Alfredo Simon, Detroit Tigers

Yahoo Ownership: 37%
ESPN Ownership: 34%

Rough time to be Alfredo Simon. He’s had five consecutive starts in which he’s given up five or more earned runs. His ERA exploded to a robust 4.53, but throw it all away as Seattle comes to town Monday.

Seattle possesses a terrible offense. The Mariners have recorded 329 hits on the road, worst in baseball by 11 hits. Their .222 batting average and .280 on-base percentage (OBP) rank at the bottom of baseball. Take away Nelson Cruz and his .907 on base plus slugging percentage (OPS) and Seattle has zero firepower. Fun fact: catcher Mike Zunino’s strikeout-to-hit ratio is 2.53 (he’s also hitting .158).

Simon gets a second start at Boston Saturday. Feel free to fade Alfredo before he toes the rubber in large part because his road ERA (6.08) is exponentially worse than his home ERA (3.12).
