Charlie Blackmon, OF, Colorado Rockies

Price: $3,500

Charlie Blackmon disappointed last night, but he draws another matchup with a righty at Coors Field tonight, and with a decreased salary he's firmly in play again.

Vincent Velasquez doesn't make for an ideal matchup, as he picked things up with a 4.00 SIERA last year, but he's also giving up a fly-ball rate over 40.0% since then and has a 33.0% hard-hit rate. Contact like that is going to leave him vulnerable at Coors Field, and the Colorado Rockies' 5.22-run implied total (second-highest on the slate) reflects that.

Going back to the start of last season, Blackmon has tagged right-handed pitchers for a respectable 36.3% hard-hit rate and 37.0% fly-ball rate. That has led to some solid production overall, with a .362 wOBA and .213 ISO, and in the hitter-friendly confines of Coors Field those numbers jump to a .409 wOBA and .235 ISO.

Getting a hitter with that upside as a cheap piece of a Coors Field lineup is tough to pass up, early-season struggles or not.
