With the night's two most expensive aces -- Justin Verlander and Masahiro Tanaka -- locking horns tonight, Tanaka has the tougher on-paper matchup of the two.

The Houston Astros' offense is one to avoid. While it's still a young season, against right-handers this year, the fellas from Houston clock in with the third-lowest strikeout rate in the league (18.0%). They also rank fifth-best in terms of team wRC+ (118) in the split.

It's not that Tanaka can't continue his early-season run of excellence, but his tough matchup makes him less appealing than the night's other high-cost arms.
