After a three-dinger day in Milwaukee, newly-acquired Paul Goldschmidt has shown to be a valuable fantasy asset with some major upside. But can he maintain that momentum today against the Pittsburgh Pirates' Jameson Taillon?

Maybe not. Despite some runs against him late, Taillon was brilliant for the first six innings of 2019, cruising over the Cincinnati Reds by allowing only one run in that span.

And last year, Taillon was nearly un-hittable against same-sided batters, posting a 2.86 xFIP, 26.0% strikeout rate, and .264 wOBA.

Goldschmidt is a great roster option on most nights, but he may not be the best play today.
