Fantasy Baseball: 5 Hitters Due for Positive Home Run Regression in 2019
These five players posted underwhelming home run totals in 2018. Can we expect them to raise the bar in 2019?

Carlos Santana, 1B/OF, Cleveland Indians

2018 - Home Runs: 24 (T-41st), FB: 43.7%, HR/FB: 11.6%

Carlos Santana returns home to his friendly digs with the Cleveland Indians, and hopefully that brings a rebound in production. Santana popped 24 long balls a season ago, but a career-worst .229 batting average stunted his fantasy growth. That's a big reason his ADP sits at only 209.2 at NFBC drafts.

However, the elite contact hitter remains an under-appreciated asset. His walk rate (16.2%) exceeded his strikeout rate (13.7%), showing that Santana still maintains an impressive batting eye.

Santana also raised his fly-ball rate by nearly four percent, all while maintaining a solid 32.8% hard-hit rate. We think there's some growth in Santana's power numbers in 2019, so buy-in while you can.
