Who Should You Draft Third Overall in Fantasy Baseball?
Assuming Mike Trout and Mookie Betts go one-two, who to select third overall got a lot more interesting due to Francisco Lindor's injury news. Should Jose Ramirez be the new number-three pick?

Nine weeks. It's a long time -- nine weeks from now, we will be nearly a month into the season. The Masters will have crowned a champion. March Madness, sadly, will be over. And hopefully Francisco Lindor will be back to playing baseball.

But with recent news that the star shortstop, and the previous number-three pick in NFBC drafts, will be out for seven to nine weeks, it's caused fantasy baseball drafters to think up a new plan if they were going to draft the Cleveland Indians shortstop third overall, assuming Mike Trout and Mookie Betts come off the board in the first two picks.

Since the Lindor injury news broke, looking at NFBC average draft position (ADP) data since February 10th, four players have seen a maximum pick as high as third: Jose Ramirez, Max Scherzer (who has gone as high as first overall), J.D. Martinez, and Ronald Acuna.

Let's break down each of these four players and see if we can nail down who should replace Lindor -- now 13th in ADP -- as the consensus number-three option in season-long leagues.
