A.J. Pollock, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

There's no two ways about it: A.J. Pollock is in the midst of one of the unluckiest stretches we've seen from an everyday hitter all season. Despite an impressive 46.2% hard hit rate and 20.5% line drives, the Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder has managed a ghastly .136/.231/.136 triple slash over his last 52 plate appearances, with precisely zero hits for extra base hits in that span.

The .154 BABIP for Pollock in that sample simply can't hold up, not with the outfielder managing an insignificant 35.9% fly ball rate. Expect his luck to pull a U-turn as the Diamondbacks visit Colorado early in the week. Thrill-seeking daily players might even employ him as a mid-priced contrarian play for the weekend series in Houston.
