Carlos Rodon, Chicago White Sox

Starts: September 12th at Kansas City Royals
ESPN ownership: 58.8%

The bottom finally fell out on Carlos Rodon. The Chicago White Sox lefty submitted nine straight quality starts in July and August but welcomed September by surrendering eight earned runs, seven walks, and three homers across 11 frames.

Recency bias may lead panicked owners to abandon Rodon for the stretch run, but now seems like an inopportune time to be fading the big lefty. This week the 25-year-old draws a Royals team with some of MLB's absolute worst lefty splits in the second half, including a spectacularly futile .093 team isolated slugging (ISO) and a 24.7% group strikeout rate.

Rodon built up a lot of good will with his stellar summer, so his ownership should remain higher than your average streamer, but shallow league owners should scour their wires for any discarded shares just in case.
