Lourdes Gurriel, 2B, Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays' 4.99 implied total is the third-highest on Monday's slate as they draw a terrific matchup against the Baltimore Orioles and right-hander David Hess.

Hess has pitched 15 games and has an ugly 5.34 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in his first Major League season. He's struggling against hitters on both sides of the dish, and he has an especially poor 6.01 xFIP in righty-versus-righty matchups.

Lourdes Gurriel has only played in 41 Major League games in 2018, but he is showing a ton of promise from the dish. Since his July call-up, he has exploded to the tune of a .425 wOBA with a solid .198 ISO over 85 plate appearances.

With the Jays' offense in such a good spot, he's not likely to cool off much tonight.
