Ji-Man Choi, 1B, Tampa Bay Rays

The Tampa Bay Rays plus Tropicana Field typically equals a low-upside spot, but there might be enough intrigue to give them a look against Jake Junis. Junis continues to show a reasonable 4.09 SIERA and 22.0% strikeout rate, but remains a gold mine for dingers, allowing 1.77 per nine innings off a 40.5% hard-hit rate and 39.2% fly-ball rate.

Given the team and venue, we're not suggesting a stack here, but Ji-Man Choi might be able to take advantage of this matchup. Against right-handers, Choi is producing a 46.9% hard-hit rate and 34.9% fly-ball rate for a solid .234 ISO, and is even batting third on Wednesday.

Choi's high strikeout rate makes him more suitable for tournaments (30.3%), but on a slate that isn't necessarily brimming in value plays, he's a nice way to roster some cheap pop.
