If you've been playing daily fantasy this season, you probably don't need a ton of prompting to be all-in on Max Scherzer against Miami.

Scherzer ranks second among all qualifying pitchers this season in skill-interactive ERA (2.70), third in strikeout rate (34.6%), and first in swinging-strike rate (16.5%). Those marks are also tops among all starters in action on Friday.

His nasty strikeout stuff has translated to big fantasy production, ranking third among all pitchers with 46.2 FanDuel points per game. That a full nine fantasy points more than any other pitcher on the slate has averaged this year.

The Marlins have been awful against right-handed pitching in 2018, ranking 27th in wRC+ and striking out at a top-12 rate. They have a tiny 2.84 implied total, while the Washington Nationals are massive -365 favorites.
