Normally, when we see the name Andrew Cashner opposite an offense, it practically calls for an automatic stack. After all, Cashner has scuffled to a 4.99 SIERA, 17.1% strikeout rate, 9.9% walk rate, and 41.6% ground-ball rate this year.

But in this case, he opposes the Tampa Bay Rays, a team unlikely to turn many heads when offenses like the Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, and New York Yankees -- among others -- are in good spots tonight. This might be the rare chance we can roster bats against Cashner without the fear of high ownership, making the Rays an intriguing play in tournaments.

Given it's the Rays, you don't necessarily need to go all-in on a stack, but at the very least you can consider Jake Bauers, who's quietly produced a 44.1% hard-hit rate, .360 wOBA, and .247 isolated power (ISO) across 226 plate appearances. His salary should further depress ownership, making him an ideal flyer to take advantage of this soft matchup.
