Lucas Duda, 1B, Kansas City Royals

Tonight's six-game slate is a little starved for offense, and two teams that we typically don't target hitters from lead the way with a 9.5 over/under. The Royals and the White Sox will go overlooked mostly due to a lack of name recognition, and a firmly held belief that these two offenses are very vanilla.

That said, Lucas Duda really stands out at as an interesting power bat tonight at just $2,600. The big lefty has underwhelmed this season, but still boasts a respectable .194 isolated slugging (ISO) against right-handed pitching. Duda and the Royals get a solid park upgrade as well, at least when it comes to home run hitting.

The most appetizing part of Duda's matchup tonight is that he gets to face the struggling Dylan Covey. The right-hander owns a 5.40 ERA and has allowed 40.4% hard hits to lefties. Covey has allowed at least four earned runs in six of his last seven starts, and Kansas City is projected by Vegas for 4.51 runs in this one.
