Andrew Benintendi, OF, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $4,300

The Oakland Athletics and Texas Rangers figure to be this evening's most popular offenses, coming off a combined 23-run Tuesday night and rolling out some weak pitchers in Edwin Jackson and Martin Perez. Additionally, the Los Angeles Angels get to take their hacks against popular stacking target James Shields, and we have another contest at Coors Field.

Therefore, it's possible we see the Boston Red Sox go lower owned for a four-game slate, despite an appealing matchup at home against a struggling Dylan Bundy. Over three July starts, Bundy has posted some truly miserable numbers, including a 10.95 ERA, 5.93 SIERA, 12.9% strikeout rate, 9.7% walk rate, and 40.4% hard-hit rate. None of that looks good, and he's struggled with dingers all year, allowing 1.91 home runs per nine innings.

Bundy's Kryptonite has always been left-handed batters, and 2018 is no different, giving up a .402 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA) to them. This all bodes well for Andrew Benintendi, who's a bit pricey, but is posting an excellent .409 wOBA and .223 isolated power (ISO) versus right-handers as Boston's number-two hitter. He also has underrated upside in the speed department, swiping 17 bags on the year. Just be sure the weather is cooperating on another potential rainy evening at Camden Yards.
