A cheap pitching option like Yefry Ramirez can be tempting at times, but this is one we want to stay away from tonight.

The righty will face the Boston Red Sox, who lead the league in team weighted on-base average (wOBA) against right-handed pitching (.348). They also don't provide a ton of strikeout upside as they have whiffed only 18.4% of the time in this split.

On top of that, over an admittedly small sample of 23 1/3 innings this season, Ramirez has posted a 40.0% fly-ball rate.

All this is a toxic combination.
