There's no shortage of hitting on Monday's 13-game slate, which means the Kansas City Royals could very well fall low on the ownership totem pole despite a nice matchup against Francisco Liriano.

Lirinao is posting a SIERA over 5.00 for the second straight year (5.25), while showing a lackluster 18.9% strikeout rate and 13.5% walk rate. He's allowing a .396 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA) to left-handed batters, and it says something when even the Royals are getting a solid 4.72 implied team total versus him.

As you might expect, the Royals also come cheap, so it will be easy to pair them one of tonight's top pitchers like Jacob deGrom or Luis Severino. Salvador Perez is particularly enticing, displaying a strong 44.7% hard-hit rate and 44.7% fly-ball rate this year. He owns a .226 isolated power (ISO) versus lefties since the beginning of 2016.

Despite the team name on the jerseys, this could be a blowup spot for KC.
