Jose Berrios, SP, Minnesota Twins

It's tough to recommend fading Jose Berrios, because he's been so good this year. His 3.58 SIERA says all you need to know about his incredible season thus far. But given his matchup concerns, it's probably worth finding the extra $400 or $1,000, respectively, to pay up for Clayton Kershaw or Gerrit Cole.

As mentioned, the issue with Berrios today is his matchup, and while that may seem crazy considering he is facing the Kansas City Royals, it shouldn't be. The Royals are a very scary matchup for any right-handed pitcher. Not only are they the second-best team in baseball at avoiding strikeouts (19.2%) against right-handed pitching, they also rank fourth in hard-hit rate (38.9%) against righties.

With a compromised floor and ceiling against a team that hits for both contact and power against right-handed pitchers, Berrios is an avoid this Monday for DFS purposes.
