Jacob deGrom draws a juicy matchup tonight as he takes on a Miami Marlins team that strikes out at a top-10 rate against right-handed pitching while also sitting 24th in wRC+. (NOTE: deGrom's start has since been pushed back to tomorrow.) We've got a couple other stud pitching options on this slate, with Gerrit Cole and Trevor Bauer, but neither of their opponents strike out at as high a rate or rank as low in wRC+.

The New York Mets are -169 favorites in this one, and Miami's 3.08 implied total is only 0.06 runs away from being the lowest on the slate.

deGrom has been outstanding through 16 starts in 2018, turning in career-best marks with a 2.88 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and 31.4% strikeout rate. That high strikeout rate comes with a huge 15.3% swinging-strike rate, which is over 2% better than his previous career-high.

He has shown a very high floor recently, with at least 43 FanDuel points in 7 of his last 8 games, while he flashed big upside with a 67-point performance in that stretch. In an excellent matchup with the Marlins, he's unlikely to slow down tonight.
