3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 6/25/18
Chris Davis has shown signs of life after a 10-day respite. Who else might go overlooked?

Chris Davis, 1B, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $2,300

It's safe to say Chris Davis has been, well, terrible in 2018, posting the lowest wOBA among qualified batters (.211), while showing an uncharacteristic lack of power. He's managing a paltry .091 isolated power (ISO), a far cry from the career .237 mark we've come to expect.

So why on Earth are we listing him here? Davis recently took a 10-day break to work on his swing, and in his first game back on Friday, he slugged just his fifth home run of the year. He also hit his fifth double on Saturday.

Does that mean he's fixed? Hardly, but if we're willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, he gets a solid matchup against Felix Hernandez, who has allowed a 5.01 FIP and .362 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA) to left-handed batters this year.

There's no doubt that Davis could continue to disappoint, but it's hard to imagine that a guy with a career 122 wRC+ against righties has completely lost it at just 32 years old. If nothing else, the price is right to take a chance in tournaments.
